Odd damage display bug

Ok I am in duel zone on two different accounts.  One is a bard the other is a nightshade.  It is really weird because of I DD the bard with the NS on my NS it says I did 169 damage but when I look at the bards screen I have done 177 damage.  Odd indeed!

Ok another set of tests...  Bard NS...  Bard has + skill + stat + cap item NS has same items.  Bard nor NS has resist item so no resists at all...

NS Insta DD 162 delv 125
Bard Insta DD 220 delv 139

On bard screen NS Insta DD shows 170 not 162.

On NS screen Bard Insta DD shows 275 not 220.

Question is why is the difference between each DD so drastic between different screens.  There is only a 4.7% difference of damage the NS Insta DD while the Bard Insta DD is showing a near 20% different.

Now I am testing NS vs. Skald Insta DDs.

The Skald displays the same damage differences as the bard since both spells have the exact same delv.

But why are the spells doing 20% more damage than what is displayed to the caster.

Ns VS Runemaster

Runemaster DD shows 494 darkness spec frostalf on NS Screen it displays 520 that is only a 5% difference which is only 1% more than NS.

Which is the true number and why do these number differences exist?  Is this a bug or is this simple by design?

Hmm thanks for reporting this, it's an odd one..

But this is the way we are nerfing classes at the moment, and it's obviously not working right.. I'll look at it now while the server is down.

while you are it , can you add the missing envenoms/poison mezz/healing potion and a /switch command (not the basic one from dol but more like the one I explained to you in pm if you read it), would be nice !

/switch just encourages easy mode stealthers... really don't want to add that..

I'll think about the rest though.

it just gives you more control over your pan instead of being focused on the switch, don't think this is easy mode since if you get add by any class on an assassin you can start typin /rel honestly.

and since the server is filled with pro adders , wouldn't be that bad to add it as far as I'm concerned, just sayin' you should think twice about being negative tho

I agree about /switch . But not for stealthers.. I like mah big juicy 2h Heros.

I see /switch as quite an advantage for certain classes, if it was to be added I'd rather it cost BP to learn the ability to use the command... like 50k BP per class.

when you are a stealher, it's kinda fair since they have to switch really fast while they get add and add again if they want to survive

yet I agree on some class like merc/bm but anyways slam is 5 sec now so that s not really oped if that s what you had in mind.

anyways as I said if you implement it, please do not implement the basic /switch from dol which allows you to only switch the first weap in you inventory, kinda gay for a stealher, do a switch command like the one I sent you in pm.

and concerning the bps cost..yeah why not or just allow this command for vip account (more money for your extra trips  ;D j/k)
